Lol my friend, I have no idea indeed. I'm a virgin to coils. But I'm getting some soon.

I don't drive fast, I drive speed limit, if not just 5mph slower, and freeway only 60 to 65 mph. Will that make a difference in bumpyness.

Just wondering. I'm thinking 12k 10k is pretty stuff lol.
Also so a bucket seat help out??

i was in a bucket seat. I was on a local road that had some waves/ruts in it before a stop sign.

the difference in bumpiness comes from the coils themselves; the shock needs to be valved to handle the spring rate.

I had great experience with HKS Hypermax personally. The Cusco's I had were not bad either, but not as good as the HKS IMHO.

Wow those are that expensive, I remembered mine about in the 1000-1200 range it was a few years back and I'm in Japan. Sorry for the bad info!

so three months later, i am now in this same position, but looking at more of a track setup and wondering if anyone has changed opinions or new insight. I have about the same budget of about $1,000

If you're serious about racing then save your money for something decent. If not then don't get track coils...

Small bump here, My friend has GR+ and wants something even softer. Maybe even a spring shock setup.
