Someone tell WTF is wrong with my SR

So my s13 sr20det is my daily driver. I live in mn so it is cold as fuck, I let my car warm up every morning and sometimes it does this thing where the car putters and it won't go above 3k rpms. It almost sounds like it has a bee r .. But it doesn't. It just bounces off of 2k

That would make sense. Can I clean it for now or do I have to replace it right away?

Try cleaning it first, buy one of those MAF cleaner sprays at Autozone. If that doesnt fix it, double check the wiring before you buy another MAF just to make sure. You can use SOHC MAFs like stated but you'd have to rewire the plug since the pin out isnt the same from what I remember.
