S14 kouki rb25 neo drift build
hey guys, been creeping for a while but never really posted.
i’m starting a new build for my s14 and wanted to share it with everyone. i’ll try posting as much information as i can to help anyone doing anything similar. if you have any questions, just ask! first, i’ll give some quick background info. the car is a 95 s14 which i’ve had for about 6 years. it was stock when I got it, and has gone through some changes throughout the years. this is how the car looked back in 2010. first, i took the front end apart for some cleaning & painting. i wasn’t looking for an A+++ paint job, so I just used Tremclad spray cans for primer, paint and clear. for the price, i’d say great results! i also scrapped the old KA and swapped in an s13 SR20 blacktop. the SR was taken apart for some cleaning & painting before putting in the car. engine stayed stock. the idea was just to have a simple and clean engine / bay free of leaks, dirt, grime, etc... engine turned out like this. it eventually made its way into the car. soon after, i ditched the zenki front end. also found a great deal on a set of single bolt pattern XXR 521’s in 18x10 +12 that were eventually painted white. the car ended up looking like this. and just for fun… the SR was then pulled out again for a few changes. the car ended up looking like this. |
