By spring isn't that realistic of a finish date if you want this. It's been like a year and a half now for this build and I've been pretty persistent on getting stuff done.

Got everything prepped for Jason to start cutting in things and spray jams. Outside is 80% ready for paint. Little bit more sanding. Everything should be cut in by the time I get off work today. Will have pics of that. Don't forget to check out my link to my photobucket. It has 200+ pics of my build. Didn't pay for another month of unlimited photobucket bandwidth. Hopefully it holds up for yah.

. Everything is cut in and jams are painted. Thinking about painting the outside solid one color and see how I like it before choosing weither to two tone or not. I dunno.. thoughts?

i love the color. and would you be willing to discuss with me how you did your radiator setup? thats exactly how i wanted to do mine but the whole radiator cap underneath the core support has failed me and i havent thought about it since.

I don't have a cap under the core. I fill through the purge bottle. The radiator is a unit produced locally here by U.P.Garage. It or course can be manufactured and shipped to you. It can come in a few different set ups depending on your budget. My complete radiator with my fans will run about $800. I believe just the radiator with an in spout is about $400 plus shipping. And you get what you pay for. This is a dual flow high quality radiator. If you bought just the core you would need to weld and fabricate the mounting hardware, out spout, and fan hardware. My fans are made by spal in Italy. The big one is rated at 1500cfm. I've never had the small one even come on under extreme conditions. It's set to a high temp. So if you interested lmk and I can collaborate with Doug at U.P.Garage to get you what your looking for.

Of course theres middle grounds with that radiator like mounting tabs, spout, and shroud welded on and you do your fans. So price can vary with what your budget it.

Very nice. You should definitely go with two tone. I will also be repainting my original two tone coupe.

I am doing the two tone now. Brought my wheels and sat them next to my cut in hood to come up with some ideas. Gonna do a black metallic or black with green pearl on the lower.

Prepping is complete. Time for mask and paint.

That's mxracerjason prepping.

Here's pics of the base color laid down and then it was masked for the two tone. After the whole car was cleared.

Still have to paint the bumpers, side skirts, and gtr grill. Taking the car home tonight though to put my wheels and suspension on it. :-)

Sucks you guys will never see justice in the lower color by looking at pictures here. The bottom has a lot of green pearl in it. Put wheels on and suspension. Fender is just sitting there to see how it looks. Can't bolt anything down just yet. Paint is to soft.

Great work bro! I love garage projects.... It would have been awesome if you took the two tone color into the door and door jams

It does go slighty into the jams now. The black w/ green pearl was sprayed in there while painting the outside. Also, when the black sideskirts go on it will cover the rest of where it needs to be black in the jams

It still would have been awesome looking when you open the doors the two tone flows seamless through the openings..... I just painted an AE86 atomic orange and black two tone and I did the jams and doors and gas door and opening and it looks insane great work though!!
