DIY eyelids
First off i know this isn't to everyone's taste but I thought I'd share my little project so far.
I couldn't find any eyelids how I wanted (matching bonnet line and being straight) so I knocked these up with a little help from a couple of friends. Looks very good. I'm a big fan of eyelids on ALOT of vehicles, guess I'm a ricer like that. Honestly I'm only worried about the light output now.

Sweet. You want to effectively cover up HALF of your available light output with stupid lids. Why not just go kouki if you're looking for something more sleek?
ps, your left side headlight is pushed in and doesn't line up with the hood. Fix that first.

Oh no! Lol fail lol omg, I can't believe I overlooked that, your right, what should I do? I could make them out of perspex maybe? That way the light could still get through

Seeing yours was what made me take the plunge,
I think I might end up trimming them a bit higher yet but I'm not going to be sure until I see them on and painted. Going to mount them with Velcro joints so I can take them off and on as I please |

Got a thin layer of filler on them today and did a tonne of sanding, still more to go to get them nice and smooth.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1337213024.332577.jpg
