Hope you did ur research before getting a Shiba. They are a very aggressive breed that doesn't do well with children. One of the few breeds commonly not allowed at dog parks. She's adorable, but please train her well.

its all about socialization at early age, my shiba wanted to tear and eat any dog that was smaller than her when she was a puppy, this made me cringe, but with a ton of patience and love, she grew up to tolerate all dogs, she is fearless tho, she will make a rottie or pitbull run away with their tails in between their legs. She does awesome with little kids ,,, shibas are the coolest catdogs ever! beware tho,,if you are expecting a cuddley dog,,, you may get brokenhearted. LOL |

This is my wifes dog, Gizmo. He is 2 years old now and fit into a shoe when he was a pup. This is as big as he'll get (5lbs).
He's not a tea cup, just the runt of the family. He had a liver shunt, we almost killed him but we payed for the surgery. I was never a dog person, but this guy cracks me up. About to go into surgery Wifes doing (she's a photographer and tarded about this dog)
