I have new respect for you guys with smoothed engine bays
Seriously. I've welded shut over 115 holes in my coupe's bay which I thought was a lot of work...now comes the filling and sanding which is kicking me arse.
So, props to you guys who've put in the hours and now have such nice engine bays to show for it - I raise a beer to thee. In process:

true... true... all of this car nonsense is a LOT of work
funny thing though, all of you guys in your 20s think welding all that shit shut is cool race-spec blahblah then you turn 30 and are like "fuck, that AC shit would be kinda nice right about now" hopefully if you're 40, 50, 60 (or up).... well, i dunno what to say if you're still driving a 240SX. I'm sorry? :-) Sorry Dave. Sorry Diego. Sorry Paul. haha |

Im still trying to figure out how to put ac in my vert, it didnt come with it. Oem. I didnt know that was a option? But has no ac lines, no ac button inside, and no compressor or bracket. So i only assume is oem?

I want to put ac in it, but i dont want to pull the dash and put it all in and have a gay switch somewhere to turn it on. Im debating just ripping the whole top out. Its a weekend car anyways.

AFAIK, I don't believe an A/C delete was possible from the factory. In the US at least. I'm always confused when people say their cars came stock without A/C.

Did you not just see my explination? So idk how you don't see why some think it didn't come with it.
Its a stock to the bones vert. Not one mod. And does not have one thing for the ac system |

I just recently got my A/C working again and I feel like I am driving a brand new luxury car now lol. Driving on the freeway with the windows up and the music not blasting just to hear it!

AC? I have a G35x for that!
This project is about going fast and looking cool which often happens at the expense of comfort (noise, heat, ride, sound system, leather, etc.). Not that it can't be had all at the same time but if that's the goal then I'd be much better off starting with a Lexus and then adding the Fast from there...which is a good idea actually..

false. my friend has an s14 with no a/c from factory. the button isn't even there, it's just a blank. he's had the car for like 4 years. and it's auto, so you know someone didn't take the ac out of it lol

My hatch is the same way. I think it was originally bought in Alaska so no need for A/C. |
