Yep. That was my car. This was it once it was put together. I only had it driving for 3 weeks before that happened.
I rebuilt another one. It was a fuel fitting failure. I used one of these. ![]() I have talked with some other people about these and they have had similar issues. The oem connector has metal clips inside instead of plastic. Shortly after I had this problem a couple companies revised them to this. There is now a solid collar that holds the fitting on instead of that little clip. This time I used billet fuel rails so I could thread the fuel lines on. Here is the new car. Still not completely finished. |
