CP Pistons Question. not sure of size

I just bought a set of CP pistons 9:1 for my ka24de-t but im pretty sure the size was supposed to be around 89. these have 87-2a stamped on the bottom. isnt that too small? (87 is the size im assuming) and a friend gave me rods he said were for a ka. which i dont see anything but a number 32970 stamped on it. cant find anything on google. anyone with some info? it would be greatly appreciated . thanks

you measure pistons on the skirt .75" from the bottom perpendicular to the pin

and you use a micrometer for actual size
