Got Panthers tickets for their preseason opener against (admittedly Manning-less) Colts.
Top section, in the corner , i guess I cant complain about it, they were only 40 bux. Maybe Smith and Lucas will fight again

just got 45 yard line view tickets for the colts-chargers. Hell yeah.
Went to Chargers fanfest 08.. Unbelievable the talent cromartie has. Also Jacob Hester looks like he will be a menace this year as a rookie. I smell a super bowl.

the team that wins get to chose or create either a sig or avatar for the loser. The loser has to keep it up there for a month. I'll give you a 4 point spread. Cool?

N.E. Patriots - AFC East winner/playoffs but how far? Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Possible NFC South winner/Strong playoff run. Cincinnati Bengals - Wildcard at best New Orleans Saints - Possible NFC South winner/Strong playoff run. I think it will be up to the Saints/Bucs to decide the South. Cincinnati has a slight chance to get their act going this year and be a confrence front runner but it could implode just like last year. |

I'm glad the whole Brett BS is over with. As a Packers and Brett fan, the last month or so has been very taxing.
He'll probably do OK for the Jets, but I don't see him playing for more then another year or two max. But lets talk about the Packers. It's a new era for the team. What sucks is we have some very good players, but they have always been in #4's shadow. Donald Driver is one. Dude has consistently been one of the best receivers in the league for a long time, but hardly gets any press. I think he will this year as Rodgers is going to need a dependable target like Driver. Our running game is going to step up this year for sure. We just inked a new contract with Grant who is super fresh. I'm looking forward to this season. I'm going to one of the pre Season games at Lambaeu on the 28th.

Ok, the Pack! I think they have a well built team and they finally have what looks like a keeper in Grant. I hope Rodgers comes through but he's going to have more scrutiny than Brett will so we'll see how that pans out. I hope nothing but good things for the Packers this year but I will be keeping my eye on the Jets now. |

Saints won yesterday! 24-10 over the Cards
However, the Pats lost 16-15 to the Ravens. Oh well. Did the bucs play yesterday?

no way in hell what? They won 23-20 in sudden death overtime. Steve smith is only going to be out for 2 games, and he was severely under utilized last night, so i dont see that being a huge problem

Lifetime fan of the New Orleans Saints, here.
I'm such a big fan, I was born hours before the game so that my dad could still go watch them lose. Anyway, I've been with them every year, through the '87 dream season and the '91 CHA-CHING season, even thru the 'Aints years. Anyway, I'm predicting three possible outcomes: 1. Losing streak until midway thru the season, then they pull a wildcard playoff bid out of their asses but don't go any further. 2. Winning streak until 2/3 thru the season, then losing streak all the rest of the way. 3. They go all the way. I don't really care which one occurs, I'll still be rooting for them. |

I actually think they will be the team of two years ago. Deuce is back so that means reggie will do more play option where he is insane. I think we are all still waiting for Reggie to fully reach his potential which we have yet to see.

I wouldn't say that just yet but I think it's clear that he can't be the sole running back. This is only his third year.... but we will see. I think this is the make or break year for him.

DAMN IT!!!!! Merriman might have a degenerative knee condition. He has a torn PCL, which I spoke to a friend of mine who said that it's going to take 6 months to completely heal. If the ligament doesn't tighten on it's own then it's going to take surgery. If it continues then he might be done for good.... why Lights Out why?
