5 speed swap

ok so i have had my 5 speed swap done for about a year now. well i went to get my car safety checked in VA and i failed do to not having a neutral safety switch. im still running the auto ecu due to some of the benefits and the fact i will be doing an rb swap in the future. my question is does anyone know how to wire in the neutral safety switch still using an auto ecu and harness? i need to pass this inspection soon. thanks, Josh.

How much difference did you feel after the 5spd swap? My S14 is an auto and I am getting ready to do a swap and was wondering how much better the car drove?

i wouldnt say the car drives better. but if you are like most of us here, driving auto just doesnt fly. the swaps easy and affordable. you can piece it together all used and on the forums or at local junkyards. and you cant get the full potential out of the car with that auto. its a day or 2 project depends on how good you are. the only reason mine was auto was because i got a really good deal on it and i couldnt pass it up. goodluck with the swap. but does anyone have any suggestions for the neutral safety switch? im pretty sure i figured out how to get it done but can it still be done with an auto ecu? anybody?

Search Google for "240SX FSM" and look up page EF & EC-151 (for 91-94 240SX FSM).

ok i found what you were talking about. but i really dont understand what im looking at. i found the neutral position switch. can you explain this to me? i would appreciate it. do you think if i wired it up this way, it would work? first off from the switch on the pedal. ground it, then extend a wire from the switch to the ecu. from the sensor, run the green and black wires to the ecu. the black one connects to a ground on the ecu. then connect the pedal wire and the green wire from the sensor to the green/orange wire (pinout 22) on the ecu? seems like it would work to me.
