hey everyone,

I was wondering what you guys know about adjusting and maintaining the hand brake. Since it gets pulled a bit for drifts (I'm just starting off), I feel that there has to be something I have to maintain or adjust periodically. I ask because when I was in my garage yesterday, and I pulled it up and down, it made a little springy noise. It works fine, but maybe I might have to lubricate something or check for damage in the rear?

btw, I couldn't figure this out (through seraching either), but how does our ebrake work? is it caplier based, where is the pressure applied? a link to a thread or webpage would be cool.

I'd appreciate any help. thanks.

it's quite a book to read...i have lots of other more important college stuff to read

but I do have the fsm's on my HDD....forgot about it, thanks for reminding me.

Hey Chris, if you have time, maybe while you're going through the ebrake stuff, you can figure out why my ebrake keeps on getting stuck.

may be try to adjust the bolt, when u remove your ebrake cover, u can see it, check it out if it can help

Is there just that one 8mm nut or is there individual adj. bolts?

as i remember... only one bolt right there, i think its 8 or 10mm bolt...
