Great job so far. As far as suspension consider upgrading the stance coilovers with swift springs. I put feal coilovers on my car with swift springs replacing megan coils and I can't believe the difference. Just my 2 cents

I actually bought PBM's instead, do swift springs work for them too?

Thanks man.

No updates yet, just have been buying parts and got around to mounting the fog lights the right way.

Bought a 350Z pedal kit. Can't wait to swap the pedals already.

Ok, I thought it had to do with the pedals.. why not just weld the hole shut to delete it? Still remain functionality incase you want to reinstall the antenna? Just curious

I don't want to go through all that BS honestly. Plus I can't weld to save my life nor do I have the equipment.

No updates yet unfortunately. The wife and I had a kid two months ago so that has been keeping me busy. Most likely this month the car will be converted to a five speed. Initially I was planning on doing it with my cousins, but now I have no time with the kid an all so I will have a shop convert it for me.

Been getting some more parts from Nissan, shit is expensive!

Bought some LED's to install in the interior switches. Really like the way it came out, will eventually do the rest.

Before;

After;

New headlight covers to replace the old faded ones.

New cluster & radio bezel's.

New center vent, interior door handles + trims, Silvia trunk lock and L+R door locks.

And now last, BUT not least drumrollllllllllll.

180sx Type X switches mated to USDM trims customa made by Broadfield;

LED on;

Will post more updates hopefully soon.

Great build thread! Always good to see a fellow Vert. Not enough people that take care of little details like you have done. It's getting harder and harder to find convertible pieces. What number is your Vert? My 1993 is 1354. This will be awesome when it's complete!

Did I read your signature right??? You have an auto SR Vert? I have an auto RB25 in my Vert and I haven't seen anybody else with a turbo swapped Vert until now.

Thanks man, yup not many of us Vert owners out there. They are truly a dying breed. Not sure what the number is, I should hopefully be by it in a month, once I'm there I'll let you know. I'm just extremely happy it's a 1994!

Thanks!

What do you mean NOS new?

The door locks are OEM 240sx. Just wanted brand new ones, maybe it will slightly slow down potential thieves. Or might not at all, I used to own a Nissan master key that was good for any Nissan from 88' to 98', that shit worked like a charm.

Big things are coming this week. Brought the car to NY to my friends shop. I will have him do the conversion since I have a very busy schedule.

Did a couple of little things again.

Old interior door handle on the left, ugly faded thing. Brand new one the right looks great.

Before. Notice the damage, did that accidentally when I was cutting the Vert pillars.

After. Replaced the covers on both sides as well, looks a lot better in person.

Forgot to take an 'after' picture, but you can just notice how faded it is.

Finally installed some rear speakers. I'm going to upgrade them soon because I really do not like the sound quality. Maybe it's the headunit, I'm not too sure.

Before anyone says something I will have the seat belts welded sometime this month as well.

Now onto some shots of the car after a bath;

And my favorite picture;

Stay tuned more updates soon!

Vert owner checking in as well, cool build. Nice to see the small details. I've always toyed with replacing all interior lights such as top down/up and heater/AC but haven't gotten to it quite yet.
