Brake issue, already searched...
A couple months back I went on a cruise with a bunch of dudes and pushed my car a little harder than normal (nothing crazy, just more aggressive than daily driving). Ever since then I've had issues with my brakes and can't pinpoint what the issue could be.
Immediately after the cruise (the following weeks) I'd noticed a constant scraping sound and soon figured out that the piston on the drivers' rear wheel was constantly engaged, so my wheel was hot after every time I drove and eventually more and more dust formed on the wheel as the pad wore down to the metal. I figured it was a bad caliper so I replaced it, also replaced the rear soft lines with braided lines (because why not?) The reason I replaced only rears was because the front hard line bolts stripped on me when I went to replace those... Anyways, so I replaced all of that, it worked for a few days of gentler/daily driving and then crapped out and began engaging all the time agian. Since then, I've bled the system multiple times and now I don't have any brake pressure whatsoever. I have pressure while bleeding and as soon as I power the car on the pedal goes straight to the floor. When rolling, and I push it to the floor it slows down, but is nowhere near close to any sort of stopping power. Thoughts? Any help is appreciated. |

Your rear pads are backwards. They look the 'same' but they are not. Made that mistake once.
If your pedal is going near the floor, it's bad MC, bad bleed; or a leak in the system. When you replaced all that, did you put fresh pads on both the L & R calipers? Did you use fresh brake fluid?
