My disappointment with GT's Vision program is its distance from actual production cars. They're all pie in the sky concepts, except for the BMW which seems to be based on the 2 series. With Nissan & Digital Polyphony being so buddy buddy, I keep holding out hope for an IDX version in the game. But no. Nope. None of that.

This car is supposed to foreshadow the next GTR BTW.

I wonder if the GT-R LM Nismo (LMP1) will be taking cues from this concept...
Seems like it could be a throwback to the FIA GT cars (think Pagani Zonda GR, Porsche 911 GT1, McLaren F1 GTR) that infiltrated Le Mans in the mid 90's.

So true. But they're all ghastly to me except the BMW.

So here it is. Looks awesome from the back. I love the GTR cues. The next GTR is going to be insane.

That's one way of putting it. Another way is saying that its 100% more polarizing than the IDX. The FT1 was the ugliest supercar I'd seen in a while until this thing came along.

Man I really dig it. Looks like the next GTR will have the supercar looks to go with the performance this time around.

"Super car" looks doesn't have to mean ugly as all fuck. Lamborghini ain't worried in the looks department.

I don't think the next gtr will look anything like this. Pretty sure it will resemble the current style, just not so bulky looking, more aero finess. But they are planning 800 hp capable, so ya never know. I hope it looks nothing like that hunk of junk concept above. Here is a article.

^^^Actually no, that's a great example not Lambo not needing to be worried about any Nissan making them look mild. That looks crazy & is still 1million times better looking than that Nissan Vision GT.

You're debating something that is subjective. I stopped going down that road. It's pointless.

The only one i'd like to see hit production, is the BMW. The other concepts seem outlandish to me. Although concepts never really fall through with the same design when put into production, i think these are a bit too modern. The GTI looks like something from Midnight Club II, and the headlights almost come close to kouki headlights. That made me giggle. Also, the Mitsubishi looks like a Widebody CRZ. Interesting, but way to agressive to the "non-enthusiast" eye. Everyone wants to make a super car and are forgetting about sports cars. I want an s16 concept dammit.

Lol... Hell no. It is the best looking of this bunch but that thing is for the track, not for consumer production. It's based on the 2 series. That is as close to production as it's gonna get.

The cool car in that bunch though is the Benz and it's sick and doable. The only thing weird about it was the wing, get rid of that and you have something that speaks of Benzs past with modern refinements

I LOVE this fucking thing. You people are all crazy that hate it. And it's so easy to see the next gen GTR in there. I'm hoping it goes without the rear seats in the next one.

Sorry. Don't like it. Don't like the FT1 either. But if you look carefully, you can see an IDX Freeflow in the background. I'm ok with liking how ugly that car is because it's supposed to be cheap enough to mod to your taste. For cars like the FT1 & this Vision concept, I need it to look like a work of art of the amount they cost. Sorry, guess I'm looking for more conventional styling. Those front inlets are just too polarizing for me.
