For those of you that were at the Davis meet, the turnout was pretty big. We had so many S14's it was nuts.

Anyway, we should all get together again in mid-August.....hmm, and for those who are thinking of coming, post up ideas of what we should do. not just boba or whatever...maybe touge?? lol

I liked the boba at tapioca express in Davis. Then I'd rather go to the old teahouse, more tea variety.

I've moved to SF now so dunno if I can make a Davis meet unless it is the weekend or something.

I think a lot of car meets go down at In and Out off of Richards. Not much to do in Davis... MU?

few months ago tapex was sold...new owners are early to mid twentys and dont really knoe how to run a business nor do they really care...

one time the employees opened up to find dog shit in the back....dog belonged to one of hte owners gfs or something like that...it got there because after htey closed i guess the gf and owners were chilllin at teh store drinking, and she brought the dog with her...

one of the employees has chronic nosebleeds...its gotten to the point where he just lets it drip...

theres more little things but rite now those are the two that stand out...

im sure they is more big things too...with the stories ive heard about how irresponsible the owners are it wouldnt surprise me...

yeah, that was a prob last time. Nothing really to do...

anyway, I want another Davis meet because the other one was pretty cool. It was all 240's and it was first meet, so i guess in a way it's a bit nostalgic.

"tapioca stuff" is basically tapioca starch. texture is similar to gummy candies, dark in color. and is usally mixed in with different types of drinks.

side note. a guy i work with had some of those stuck in his intestinal track, he ended up getting very bloated and gone to the emergency room to have them removed.

It's hit or miss, they've harassed my roommate, but he has a very loud b16 civic, he's gotten like 10 tickets in 6 months or something ridiculous. I've only gotten one, and it was borderline ...

There are a good amount of fixed up cars running around regularly that do NOT get pulled over tho

I'm totally down since i'm stuck here in Davis all year, plz no tuesdays, thats all i ask...

might be going on a road trip in aug.. but if thres a meet and im still around ill maybe stop by again, only if theres something more than just some boba haha..... maybe a BBQ or something? since its summer and all...

Turdz: Touge! What happened!?!? Weren't we suppose to go with Mike last week? How about August 14 or 15 for the meet? It's Saturday/Sunday. It'd be nice to go for a fun drive too. Do you plan to go to the next two autox or just the Sunday one? I'm thinking since they'll most likely invert it on Sunday, if we get some runs in on Saturday, it might give us a slight advantage. But on Saturday, we would have to work the large group like last time.

Summer school session 2 is in Aug/Sep, and there's also a nonstop wave of freshman coming in to scope out the campus, so its not totally dead.

yea but hte nonstop freshman are all busy picking classes, doing group activities, bowling, and then walkin around downtown in large packs....

but if u guys wanna try i suggest waiting till the npb majors come for orientation...thats were all the females are...

David screw those long work hours!! by the i'm gonna bring a thermos and some stuff to prevent heat (like that tshirt u had).
