I have owned 3 pair of these. My original ver 1's lasted me 7 years until I sat on them on-board a plane. These 2 more recent pair of ver 2's are holding up very well.

lately i usually wear my electric ec/dc's but i still love my older pair of spy hybrids. i saw some glasses called black flys wehn i was in mexico, i think im gonna look for a pair here, they looked cool.

since theres already a thread for this.....thought id bump it up...my favorite pair of shades/safety glasses just broke...

there only 12 bucks or so...so i might just buy a whole box...JIC...but im considering buying some that are close to how those look...anyone got any suggestions...pretty much just looking for something black frames, black lenses...UV protection... not really carrying about the whole fashion trend deal, i mean cmon, i rocked those for 2 yrs...worked great...lol

Oakley Polarized STRAIGHT JACKET Fishing Sunglasses available online at Oakley.com

Oakley are the way to go. i was on my bike and had a rock jump up and hit my oakleys at 95mph. Looked at them and no cracks or scracthes. That was enough to inspire some brand loyalty.

I think the most expensive pair of sunglasses i ever owned were a pair of Diors and ended up giving them away to a friend.
now I just buy whatever Flea market special from the Vietnamese lady for $5 most of the time, usually I just end up breaking them.
Not worth it to spend big dollars on disposable shit like glasses unless you need them to see.

i used to buy expensive sunglasses. several pairs of oakleys about 7-9 years ago. then Spy, then i had a pair of Prada shield style ones that lasted a couple years.
then i bought a $5 pair of wal mart aviators, and i've gone through four pairs now. no plans to buy anything of value any time soon. they even lowered the price recently to $3. sick.
