Mines R34:
Nurburgring - 6:53.783
Laguna Seca - 1:19.366

nurburgring gives you no mercy with its curbs! they're so steep they'll throw you in the air if you hit em too hard. ...
..not to mention the rest of the track with steep elevation changes... i became fully airborne so many times, and a slight tap of anything in the air; gas, steering, or brake, means you're gonna spin out (or lose a lot of traction) once you come back down.

the ring is fun though with its high speed stretches.. just so hard to control

..i guess the mines r34 isnt the fastest car.. looking at the other times on the rank.. but, imo, its a very fun car to drive

yeah i kind of dont like it because its so unforgiving... but the challenges on that track are very unique and fun

i developed a negative bias towards it though after trying several times to win the driving challenge (i think its called..) where you have the SLR McLaren and you have to beat a bunch of old Merecedes' with a handicap of a few minutes.

i got close but i just wasnt able to win that one..

They won't compare. GT4 won't give you penalty time if u get a wheel off the road like in Forza and the game is just different.

that was the hardest one for sure. i only won the event by less than a tenth. i spent a week to beat that one. however, i might try to do it again now that i've been putting in so much time on the ring lately.

Don't feel bad, I haven't even managed to catch the last car in that challenge yet! That's the only challenge that I haven't beaten too.


EDIT: Don't forget that we still have the weekly battle going, I haven't seen anybody post a time for that in a while. Spoolpigeon is also no longer in the lead at tsukuba and will not be in the lead for long at laguna. I'm comin for ya man!!! Muuuuuhahahahahahahaha!!!

The bitch for me is gunna be the nurburgring time. I am going to have to run a pretty much flawless lap at maximim attack. That will take a while! For my previous lap I was just concentrating on taking it easy and keeping the car on the track, now I REALLY have to attack the course!

Oh, BTW there IS more left in the car at both tsukuba and laguna! I am prepared to defend my position! The lotus seems to respond better to set-up adjustments then most cars do.

Ford GT is not allowed, it is just barely considered a "supercar". Sorry man. Hell the viper and the lotus esprit that me and spoolpigeon are using are BARELY legal, the ford GT is a step above either of those cars.

You got to be kidding. The Viper and the Esprit are super cars.

The Viper also fits the super car build too. The Ford GT is not in the same class as the Zonda if you want to call that a super car but u really can't since it way faster.

Lemme run some laps in my ford GT and I will decide from there. I anticipate total decimation of the posted top times and if that happens I just can't allow it. The lotus and the viper are fast, but not to that next level of fast like the ford GT is in my experience. I will try to be fair, but there has to be a cut-off somewhere and I have established that cut-off at the ford GT. Corvettes and rx-7's are still competitive with the viper and esprit, but not with the ford GT. That is why I established the cut-off where it is. Arguing with me will get you nowhere, just trust that I am making every effort to be fair.

... So I finally caved and got an '03 Viper and tuned it, It's way faster than the original Viper! I don't know about the Esprit, but I think the Viper should be considered a supercar, it makes 500 HP stock and puts down 1032 HP fully tuned, If I'm not mistaken its got a power/weight ratio of 1.2! I we should also add to the rules that any car with a power to weight ratio of less than 1.5 or something of the sort should not be allowed. IMHO.

BTW...You guys know that the Trial Mountain challenge is still going on until Sunday night, right? I haven't recieved any more PM's with anyones times.

The Esprit is stupid fast because it's really light with 900hp. I broke down I got one too.

It's a hard car to drive but I feel like if I can get a really good lap I could go lower than what I got.

I'll take a stab at trial mnt.
