short to ground somewhere
a while ago my gf got a 94 vert, and the motor had a bad injector. i went to swap it out, and pulled the fuel pump relay and cranked the car to releive fuel pressure, but the car didnt crank. something clicked really hard, sounded like relay almost. now the car has a short to ground somewhere and we cant really find it. ive checked all the relay's with the fsm precedure and my dvom.
were just getting frustrated. weve got a nice vert chassis and my old 422hp sr engine waiting to go in, but i dont want to swap it and make the problem hide itself more. thinking of buying a new chassis harness also. what kinda price do you guys think id be looking at for a engine bay or under dash harness?

Any harness from the junkyard cost about $15, pretty cheap. Thats here in California though. I don't know about your place but they usually just crush them along with the car since hardly anyone gets them.
