first of all, do me the favor... shut the fuck up.

its not about hanging out with people that have the same cars, or any of that scene bullshit. its about having a car for the reason that its yours, its badassed, and its not "an enigma." in the old days, people didnt give a flying fuck about a 240. the Z is what it was always about. 240 was (and is) a secretary's car.

the reason i told you to shut the fuck up, is because you have no reason to speak. its obvious you werent around back then, or else you'de understand what a lot of us old-schoolers are dealing with nowadays.

we're dealing with fucktards such as yourself, who take everything for granted. all the massive amounts of cool available parts, whether its lighting, wheels (proper offset, lug pattern and width), brake choices, engine, etc... its ALL because of the old-schoolers, who did the time to R&D shit, research, and put time and money into.

SR swap was golden back then, few pulled it off.. and if they did, it wasnt super cherry - it had its kinks. nowadays, there's writeups and faqs for everything, you fuckers have TV shows that probably give walk-throughs as how to do things. serious, its almost as bad as watching american TV to fixup your domestic car.

I don't care about what is perceived as the "scene." I have my cars because I just love 240's, love fixing them up and learning how to drive them.

LOL I remember the old AMAROK list. And Shine Street. And V-Spec and Neishlin Motors. I still keep in touch with Ken Flores. I do miss how it was back in 2001 though. The old skoolers seemed more mature and down to earth, everyone was more into helping each other with their cars and nobody did anything stupid.

for one, i talked shit back then.. and i still talk plenty shit even now. only difference is, i used to get banned back then. i think now either people start knowing that i'm right, or people just stopped caring and block all of my posts. :-) but i specifically remember me and you talking shit about lighting retrofits way back in the day.

second, people STILL did stupid shit back then. alex fuckin shorted his battery when his craftsman ratchet touched both + and - battery terminals! that was fuckin choice!

I've been into cars for a while now and im just now getting to actually "drive". I get a lot of hate from the old schoolers and the people that just dont respect what I do. I have a lot of friends that arnt to car smart and I help them out all the time. Always installing stuff and making sure they pick the rite parts.

It all started with Cruisin USA for N64, then I got into Dupont Registery and Hummers. I just LOVED exotics, then the famous Fast and Furious came out and I was all about rice. My sister was older and hung out with a buch of car people and riding in a civic with a muffler left a grin on my face. Then I went to my first I-Rev and Hot import nights in Chicago. So I dont like to think im a newbie to the car world. But if thats how some people like to see it, Im not going to complain. Im just going to build my car and have some fun.

The funny thing is, My sister got a $18,000 Prelude as her first car, then a $20,000 Is300, then a $45,000 Acura TL recently. And I have a $400 S13 shell in the Garage. lol

Anyways, there are still some really cool people around now who weren't around back then. It's the insecure people that feel like they have something to prove and the newbies who really shouldn't be around cars (and are too dumb to search) that mess everything up. It's inevitable whenever a new fad comes around.

I do enjoy reading your $hit talking posts and all the replies from people who take what you say too seriously though
