suspension torque specs
hey guys i found a post for my question but this is the problem i ran into... i was wondering if his specs are in a different unit....
Front Suspension: Two bolts that hold the strut to the spindle : 84-98 ft-lb Three nuts on top of the strut that hold it in place : 29-40 ft-lb Rear Suspension: Two nuts on top of the strut that hold it to the car: 12-14 ft-lb Nut that holds the strut to the spindle: 65-80 ft-lb for the bolts that hold the struts to the spindle.. i torqued it down to 250 not sure what unit... and as for the bolts that hold the strut to the car i torqued it to 200 it had 2 units on eachside of the needle... one side went up to 350? one side went up to about 100 IIRC is there something wrong i did? overtightening it? help me out please |
