Yet another Wednesday night. Got some good practice in before tearing the car down for paint this weekend.

Tested out some new sticky front tires (Advan AD08R) and they are rather epic. Went from 225/45/17 to 215/40/17. Lowered the front a ton and I have way more angle now.

Yea so far so good. The car seems to drive a lot better, I'm fighting the steering wheel less. You going to be at ASB this year? I'm super excited.

It's almost ready!! I'm picking it up tomorrow after work and finishing the assembly at home Friday night/Saturday. Final round of ProAm is Sunday!

We will have to see how tomorrow goes before I make any decision. Basically on the off chance I win ProAm tomorrow and everyone else breaks down and I get my FD license, I'll probably start parting out my SR and working on some sort of V8 swap.

What's more likely is that I don't get my license and leave everything the same for proam again next year. I think this set up has the legs to do it as long as I get points at every round. Every year I've had something go wrong and I would get a 0 at 1 round.

If you got the cash and are going LS, I highly recommend going with the Fueled Racing kit. Their standard kit mounts the motor lower than Sikky's kit such that you don't have to beat on your trans tunnel plus their parts are far better quality than Sikky. But FR will also customize it to your preferences if you ask so you can move everything rearward and/or lower if you want. Also, their 710 pan is awesome; much better than Sikky's.

They are cheaper too yea? I've heard good things about both. Still a little ways off buying anything. I need to take the motor out and sell a bunch of stuff before I'm ready for that.
