OK so i set my timing according to the fsm, but after i plugged the tps back in the timing went to like 32-34 BTDC idle is like 850-900 rpm is that normal?

No, you unplug the TPS subharness to adjust the timing so the ECM doesnt compensate for any changes. Your @ 32 because your idle is high and your not on base timing anymore. You need to adjust the idle to 650, adjust the timing, then adjust the idle back to 650. Then connect the harness.

ya thats what i did i set base timing like that but i have solid motor mounts and electric fans so i need the idle at 900rpm or higher so the car doesnt die when the fans come on.

The car shouldnt die when the fans come on.. I have solid mounts and altima fans, it drops real low, but doesnt die. You have electrical issues with your alternator then, or a bad ground.

Ok i guess i shouldn’t have said that it doesn’t die completely but it will get to like 500to450rpm and it doesn’t seem right for it to do that. I have the Taurus fan and it pulls a lot of juice and if my headlights are on it will prolly kill the battery.
