1. Timbaland- When he was just producing for Missy, Aaliyah, and him and Magoo, he was raw. I think he has gotten too far into trying to be in the spotlight. He was cooler when he was fat. Timberland had that style that made you feel like something evil or not of this world was going on in the songs. Now I just see chicks shaking the ass and him trying to bone Nelly Furtado. 2. Pharell- When he was at his best was before he was making music only because he made money doing it. He is very dynamic when it comes to the different classifications of music that he can do successfully. Some of his production is still beyond me but I like it anyway because it'se more creative than what we here on the radio everyday.

Don't foget the the international asshole, Kanye. He might not appeal to everyone, and isn't the greatest MC, but he's genuis as an MS and a producer combo.

early OZO and Cut Chemist new joint are dope. Dan the Automator produced Dr Octagon (Kool Keith). I love most of his stuff - Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady To, Bombay the Hardway, Gorillaz and Handsome Boy Modeling School w/ Prince Paul. I'd add DJ Krush, Filla Brazilia, Thievery Corporation, Massive Attack, Tricky, Herbalizer, Propellerheads, Medeski Martin and Wood, Blackalicious, Z-Trip... to the list. |

That's wrong. Kool Keith=Dr. Octagon=Dr. Doom, and he got his start as part of the Ultramagnetic MCs, whereas Deltron 3030 had Del Tha Funky Homosapien as an MC and Automator on the beats. Del is Ice Cube's cousin, and has done solo albums as well. They've both worked with Automator, but they're definitely not the same person. Del and Kool Keith sound nothing alike. |

damn....it just dawned on me that I have forgot another one of Atlanta's finest groups ever to throw into this discussion....Goodie Mob. This group cultivated the ever popular Ceelo Green, one half of Gnarls Barkley, into the expressive psycadelic rock rapper that he is today. There get pretty deep into their rhymes and they have an old school non-crunk Atlanta type sound. I recommend the first album Soul Food.
