??? Ka24e air temp sensor-so cal- plz help
Well im the second owner of this 89 hatch with a stock single cam,, the owner b4 had cut mad shit off the engine harness,,, so i replaced it with an uncut harness an noticed that he had cut off the connection to the air temp sensor an had taken the air temp sensor off the intake box... I want to know if that could be the problem with the car shuting off when i turn it on, i have to hold the accelerater for a min in order for the car to stay on???/ plz help!!!!

You could try cleaning the AIV (I think its called) its on the back of the intake plenum with the idle control scrrew and sometimes gunk builds up in it causing idle problems.
Try cleaning the maf also and the coolant temp sensor near the bleeder valve goes bad sometimes giving huge headaches. That's a start on what to look at.
