unless its a felony, the police have to see it... at least cali is like that. i think.... pics are hard to prove and the action shots are not zoned in on the driver. just from a legal perspective.

unless it becomes a constant problem, the police wont do much. maybe a few traffic cops in said area. private citizens can make citizen's arrests for misdemeanors committed without the presence of an officer ....but who does that?

at the end of the day though, its just childish facebook bullshit.

true, but usually cops just stare, , and some even . i know it wont be a HUGE deal with these kids and their stunts, but i still think it gives the scene bad rep, even though these kids aren't a part of the scene.

Police CAN do something about it. Down in central Illinois, a member on here actually got a street racing ticket and his license suspended for 6 months (I believe) for accelerating fast next to another car (and I believe squeeling tires). Someone simply called their plate in, and the cops showed up at his home and dropped the hammer. I couldnt believe it, because I would have thought a police officer would have to witness the crime, but he did indeed get in a pretty large amount of trouble. Total bullshit, but it actually happened.
I dont really car either way about these kid sor what happens to them. Just wanted to let you know that police can and do get away with things that most people on forums would think are completely unjustified.

So sad, you don't know the difference between people who like to drift here in Japan and ヤンキ。
I know where the spots are to watch them drift on the streets and none of them are populated with anything but drifters at midnight! Those videos of Japanese dudes doing it in stupid areas are ヤンキ and no one serious about drifting likes them. Sure most pro drivers got their start on the streets but not in town or on highways!! Wangan not included!! |

There's always ignorant folks in every aspect of life. Cars is no exception. As long as you're not breaking the law or acting like an idiot, who cares?

lol wow these dudes are retarded !!! track drifting ftw but when i did street drift once upon a time ago i always went to secluded areas, had look outs and never did it in areas where i can crash into traffic or hit a actual person. drivers like that give drifters a bad name
