Drift armor bash bar fit s14.5
I gotta s14 with 15 front end.
just wondering if anyone here has fitted the s14 bash bar with a s15 front end? I hammered the f outta my stock s14 crash bar to make it fit, but it not so good looking and you can see it through the aero vents of the front bumper which blocks the intercooler slightly. Thanks |

Can you post the reply when you get it? I also have an s14.5 and I'm either buying from drift armor or having a custom one made from a local shop. Shop said it could be anywhere from $300-800 depending on how crazy I go with it. Maybe another possibility is to get the drift armor one modified by a local shop

Well, I contacted Sonic motor which has a few bash bars here on zilvia if they had anything for us. I also emailed drift armor on facebook and I also emailed Street faction.
edit- Just got some Pm's and emails. Sonic motor said they don't have anything but told me street faction JUST came out with an S15 front bar. I was also saying that I mostly needed it as a bumper support to prevent sagging but they said it would most likely have to be done on site. Sonic doesn't have any rear bars. Street faction- Matthew Meza ( owner) emailed me saying that he just finished the S14.5 one last week. it bolts to factory locations using the factory hardware. It clears the Oem bumper but won't support it. The headlights are in the way so he can't raise it any higher. They adequately clear fmics and and are made with 120'' steel and tig welded. He told me he couldn't make and headlight/bumper supports and he doesn't have any rear bars. SS008, what are you using to support your bumper? I may just get the Street faction front bar and have a local welder fab up something to support my headlights and bumper as a separate piece. I will try and find a rear bar from either drift armor or someone. Also, do you have the S15 rad support or the stock s14 one? Sonic motor is selling street faction bars. Also just want to add these guys too http://dangdrifters.com/wp/?page_id=45 Last edited by collegekid; 03-19-2014 at 07:32 AM.. |

thanks collegekid!
The bumper has no sag right now. its supported with a OEM s15 bumper retainer. The retainer is bolted down to the rad-core support and intercooler by 6 brackets that i made. The bash bar will just be for protection. I just need it to fit in the s15 bumper and not be visible when the bumper is on. I'll also need it to clear the intercooler. I dont have a picture of the setup except for this one, but it's kinda far away. |
