keys locked in my coupe
Unfortunately I've locked my cars dealer key in my car and kick myself for not making a spare after I lost my original key, I was going to use a hanger to get in but it looks like I'd have trouble with the weather stripping. Just wanna know if anyone else knows how I can tackle this issue without having to contact a locksmith.... thanks much guys

Get a wire coat hanger or some wire with a bit of strength to it(bendable though).
Straighten it out and leave a hook on one end. Feed the hook end through the weather stripping and window at about the top corner. Hook the door lock, and pull twards you. It is very easy, I have had to do it a few times. One, or maybe twice with my car still running.

Shit, how are you having a hard time with the window stripping considering the glass just sits on top of it? Breaking into an S-chassis makes a Honda civic look like Fort Knox...

I wouldn't have told him anything considering the guy only has 2 post and wants to break into "his" 240. Just my .02.... No offense.

... I was thinking the same thing, pretty much (no offense to thread starter) There was at least another thread like this one and everyone thought the guy was trying to break into a 240 though.
truthfully though I think I have to say, if someone really wanted to break into a 240 I would hope that they would not sign up on a forum and have a "how do I break into my 240" thread as one of their first posts.... I would hope |
