This car is a 49 State Legal Motorex car and "cannot" be registered in California... but on the side note. its a great car.. current buyer purchased it from a friend of mine in the east coast.

I have close friends who have been through everything with these cars. State legal is easy, thats why the car is on Florida plates, but if the paperwork for those cars were audited they would not be truly legal for the u.s. Not trying to argue in this thread either, just giving people a heads up.

sorry to jack this thread, but seriously people, shut the fuck up about legalities. every damn time a skyline is up for sale, people who know nothing about the legal process come and shit everywhere all over the thread.

as long as it has a bond release, it's golden. The DOT can't make a car 'not legal' once they deem it legal, compliance work done or not, it doesn't matter. When my car was up for scrutiny about compliance work, I told them (epa) they can't do a damn thing...and guess what, they didn't do shit. so people stop talking about shit you don't know.

I guess it all depends on who you talk to, there was a lot of shady stuff that went down when getting the paperwork done for 32's, 95 33's,and 34's, you should know this if you owned/own a Motorex car. Not trying to argue with you bro, just giving people a heads up with what they might be getting into with this car. If your car was investigated and you were ok then cool, not everyone may be as lucky as you. I understand bro, im not trying to argue either. I've never heard of any bond released GTR's being seized though, and I am really interested to know how someone would just give up their car so easily if it was legal. Only skylines I have ever heard of that were seized were kaizo cars, and state titled cars. Please do share if you know differently. Like I said, not trying to argue with you at all, but I know you know exactly what I mean about people bashing skyline threads.... And I'm not saying you were either. I really hope this guy finds a buyer, as this is a very legit gtr

I am not going to post names, as far as the recent cars that were seized that was a different issue than the Motorex stuff like you said, but people I know have run into issues with Motorex cars in the past, as in a few years back. They returned the cars, didn't get seized, but it was still a major headache for the owners, and they no longer own the cars.

If this car has all the paperwork then who am I to say what is going to happen if its investigated, I am not the government, its just people I have known did not want to take the chance. If someone wants to take the chance with a Motorex R32 they might be just fine, but I personally would not take that chance in Cali.

I called the U.S. department of transportation, ICE, and EPA before picking up my Motorex R32 a few months ago. Each one of them gave me the thumbs up and said the vehicle was under no threat for seizure. Good luck with the sale OP! Coincidentally my gtr has nearly the same exact engine setup. The buyer will not be disappointed.

And it's currently on craigslist with an LA location, at 40k. When this car was on nagtroc late last year, the mileage was listed as 47k, and when it surfaced on here and elsewhere, it became 38k, so I asked that question and nada.
