Drift tech has teamed up with the people from Race Legal to bring a legal drifting event to Qualcom. First event is forcast to be held sometime in the month of July. it is open to all cars, FR and FF.

KSWB channel 5 news will be having news coverage of local drifters at the Q. Check your local listings to find you showings sometime next week.

We know lots of you have tried to do this before, or have had the idea. Drift Tech is making it happen.

Any questions can be directed towards Drift tech. Ask for Ed or Stretch. call in or stop by the shop.

Awesome! Its about time somebody got a drift event going at the Q. Plus its nice that us SD folks (and i know theres a bunch of us) get a break from having to spend the money on gas driving up to irwindale and fontana. I'll definitely be at this event! See you all there!

sweet, i loved the qualcomm lot when i used to drive down for the autocrosses. i'll be there =)

Sickness! I will there at all costs in order to support local events. 10 min drive vs. a 2 hour drive? I am happy about this.
Race Leagal is cool too, well organized events, totally ligit. I go watch the drag racing every now and then.

hahah serious. Waking up at 5 am for Irwindale, or 4 am for Streets of Willow, its the same as waking up in the middle of the night.

Who's going to be designing the course and how much is it gonna cost? Too lazy to call. Lots of LA peeps got SD homies. I know i wouldn't be losing sleep to go down there. AJAHAHA.

Ed and I (mainly Ed) set up the course, we are baseing it off the autox course's. we havent set on a specific price, but we are trying to keep it affordable. just some info. itll be a day event. there will be a spot for spectators, and we are setting a price for that too.

.....but i might b able to get someone to drive me there....is it cool if i just go watch?.....and.....is there gonna b a price for specatators or drivers and how much?

yeah ! not-driving all the way to irwindale or Fontana for drift events would be soo awesome ! especially since qualcomm isn't that far from my house !!

i just really hope this goes through, cuz ive known of like 3 dif groups that tried to get drifting into qualcomm and failed for various reasons, reasons like too much noise would be created, to them not wanting the skidmarks to show when football season comes around and they have the blimp shots,

well we have already set it up. we just dont have a set date. Between the drags, and other clubs, and a convention or two, we have to work us into the calander. but none the less, this will happen.

whew!!! that road eatssss up tires.
but the course is set up, might end up a little tighter than what we had it at. but its a nice set up, just have to have a set or two of tires. the article on the news is supposed to air on mon. or wed. of next week on kswb.

nothing new, still working on a price and set date. We are trying to set it up to be on the saturday after the drags. we are setting up a set of rules and recquirements.

isnt the drags every friday night? oh yea, i got a question, are you guys going to be allowing passengers? i think club4ag is the only organization that doesnt allow passengers, plus its cool to give rides, cuz my friends want them, haha.
