ES Rear Arms/Knuckle Bushings Install/Help - Anyone done'it?
My rear shock mount bushings in the knuckles are cracking apart and a few others too; so i've ordered the poly replacement by Energy Suspensions, part#7.3122
7.3122 Rear Control Arm Bushings http://www.energysuspensionparts.com...sion/17556.pdf Now, today, i dropped the subframe(also installing subframe bushings), and while I was looking over the arms in the rear, inspecting the bushings in the knuckles, looks like the oem rubber bushings seem to have a metal "bushing race" also pressed in the knuckle. I was wondering if anyone who've installed these before can chime in and help out, but I'm assuming that I'll have to reuse metal bushing race along with the ES poly replacement? Please correct me if i'm wrong but I'm only assuming this because I see that the replacement nismo bushings have the bushing race around their hardened ruber bushing, and also the replacement whiteline poly bushings have it also. But the ES ones pictured do not, so thats my assumption. nismo, Can anyone elaborate and confirm, All help appreciated, thanks'
