Their patented Spiralcell technology offers 15 times the vibration protection and up to twice the life of ordinary batteries. Optima Batteries RedTops can be mounted in any position and stored for a long time without maintenance.

Compared to conventional batteries, RedTops deliver a higher level of power to the starter in the critical first 10 seconds of a vehicle's starting cycle. The Spiralcell design allows for the lowest internal resistance of any battery on the market: .0030 ohms for 12V and .0019 ohms for 6V. Combined with a sealed case, low internal resistance is key to Optima's high-power delivery, increased cycle life, and fast rechargeability.
