Ok first off, I've had this problem ever since I swapped the motor into the first car.
-in 3rd gear around 5k rpm I hit a fuel cut? Its almost like the speed limiter, shuts down and after a few seconds I can get back in it after shifting to 4th. Doesn't do it in 4th gear. My vss isn't hooked up either.

Next up
-after lowering my car I thought my harnesses would clear, I was wrong. My fault. The part of the engine harness that connects near the fuse box is ran through my p/s fender. I rubbed some wires through on both sides. I went through and made sure no wires were broken, taped it all up and hid them right this time. My problems after this are: wipers stopped working, cluster lost power, and now my car won't start on the first crank any more. When the motor is cold it usually takes 2 bumps of the starter, and when its hot usually 4-5. I checked all my fuses and double checked all the wiring.
