1998 240sx S14 Kouki for SALE/TRADE
Hey all, ($7,000 OBO)
I'm just seeing what kind of offers I can get for my S14. It's a 1998 Kouki SE with some modifications. Has about 295k miles on the body and the motor was re-built, but no receipts to prove it. Mods on the car are as follows: Exterior -Real JDM Kouki front bumper -Shine Autoprojects front lip -Real JDM Kouki rear bumper -Shine Autoprojects rear valances -Authentic DMax rear roof spoiler -Vertex clear headlights with HID kit -DMax crystal clear corners -Origin clear turn signals -Authentic JDM window visors -JDM front grill -Custom rear spoiler brackets -Vented hood (hood risers removed but will come with car) Suspension -Stance GR+ coilovers -PBM front tension rods -PBM rear upper control arms -PBM rear toe arms -PBM traction rods -Tein front upper strut bar -URAS brake pads -PBM 25mm spacers all the way around Engine -Authentic Apexi Dual N1 exhaust system -B&M short shifter -Injen Shortram intake kit; Carb legal -Custom powersteering cooler Interior -Nismo white shift knob -JDM white steering wheel -NRG slim quick release with spacer -Momo steering wheel hub -Custom suede dash and door panels -Kenwood double-din dvd head unit -Pioneer component speakers all the way around -Wired for subwoofer setup Wheels XXR 521 (flat black) -Front: 18x10 ET+25 215/40/18 -Rear: 18x10 ET+25 225/40/18 THIS CAR TURNS HEADS FOR SURE!! This is my fourth 240sx and my third S14 and it's by far the best looking and most fun. However... there is one bad thing about it, it holds a salvage title due to an accident by a previous owner. The cars body is in great shape and nothing is wrong with it though, I had my step Dad look it over before I bought it (he's been an auto body man for over 20 years) and he gave it the okay. Willing to TRADE for: Ford Ranger 4x4 XLT (6 cylinder) (1993 and up) either converted into a prerunner or lifted (manual transmission only), Toyota pickup 4x4 extra cab or regular (prefer extra cab though) (22RE) (1991 and up) lifted and would prefer it if it was converted to a straight front axle but IFS fine too depending on the vehicle (manual transmission only), Toyota 4Runner ( I like the 1985 body style but I'll take pretty much any year just as long as it's manual transmission, 4x4, and 22RE). This would be a daily driver still so nothing with too much of a lift (probably nothing above 7" suspension lift) would prefer 6" suspension lift and 3" body lift or something like that. Possibly also willing to TRADE for: Subaru Impreza WRX wagon or sedan (2001 and up) manual transmission only. Let me see what you have to offer! As far as cash goes, I was probably going to be asking $7,000 OBO Notice I said Or Best Offer, so I'm not firm on that price. Contact me at [email protected] ->Car is located in Santa Rosa California<- -Chad craigslist post \/ http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/2434955999.html

Nope, sorry. I'm only looking for a Toyota 4x4 or Ford Ranger 4x4. Getting back into the vehicles that can go anywhere in almost any terrain. Thanks for the offer though.

I'm putting up interior and engine bay pics as we speak
Yes, it has AC and heat. It has about 290k on the body, the motor was re-built but I don't have any receipts or proof of the mileage for the motor. I was just told by the previous owner that it was done. He had his own shop so I figure he did the work himself, but still no receipts for the parts used. It pulls pretty good, that's for sure, so that leads me to believe that it truly is a lower mileage motor. Although, the open diff really does take a good bit away from the power transfer to the rear wheels. When it had a welded diff, it was a rocket. (fixed it!)

Thanks. Yeah, it's a great car I just realize I need something more versatile where I can go camping and to the snow and all that kind of junk. I'll get another one at some point in life, I'm sure, but right now it doesn't really make much sense for me.

about 23lbs each. I was looking into getting some better offset/lighter weight wheels but I didn't have the money. Enkei RPF1's would be pretty decent.

Still haven't had any cash offers. I'm pretty sure I've found the Toyota pickup I want to buy so I'm just waiting for the beast to be sold. I'm willing to work on the price, it isn't firm.

No way Jose! lol I already had an offer for $5,800 so if I were to take any low ball price that would be it. But thanks for the offer... for serious.

Yeah, It sucks how easy it is for vehicles to get a salvage title. If the car is older all it really takes sometimes is for the front bumper to be smashed along with a headlight or something. It's very clean for a salvage title vehicle, you'd never guess it holds a salvage title seeing it in person.

Okay... so it was re-built. It still runs well, that's all that matters. I honestly couldn't remember if the previous owner said if it was re-built or swapped. I'm so sorry for claiming it was a swapped motor. I won't spread these blasphemous words anymore, scouts honer! Plus it's not like someone can't pick up another KA24DE for next to nothing. Besides, judging by the crowd I'm dealing with here, a RB or SR motor would most likely be swapped in anyway.

I could potentially be interested in doing a trade for a manual transmission Jeep Cherokee as well. No V8s, 4x4 ONLY, lifted, and with 33" tires and up.

I'm pretty sure the guy that I bought the car from did it with one of his buddies. They owned a shop together so I'm guessing they had fender rollers and what not.
