S13 vs R32 GTST subs?

So I found a good S13 (240sx) shell and I plan to swap RB20DET in it. I have a r32gtst that I can part out and where the rb20 will come from.

Question:
Since I swap my RB20 to S13, I also want to transfer front and rear subs from my R32 GTST to S13. Anybody done this before? Are front and rear R32 subs will be straight bolt on on S13? If not, what fab is needed?

Also, after I swap the rb20 and r32 subs, I will be completely upgrading the suspension? What do you guys think are the best components/brand? I want to use the S13 for both drift and occasional lapping.

And finally, is it a good idea at all to swap front and rear r32 subs to S13? Or just get rb20 swap kit if available for S13 and just upgrade/replace/fab the existing S13 subs and replace the whole suspension?

I am all over the map..... please help!

most people use the S13 subframe on their R32 to eliminate the Hicas.

I think in most cases people opt for the S13 front subframe, don't know of anyone who has used the R32, but never really looked into it.

Why if you have an R32 are you doing all of this work to make an S13 run? why not just fix the R32? Rust? body damage?

suspension parts are pretty specific, but Ikeya makes some awesome stuff. so does PBM.

PS is this S13 (being a 240sx as you say) would make it LHD correct? this would make moving the steering rack and stuff that much more of a challenge.

I deleted the HICAS completely on my r32 and I have lock bar at the rear.

Unfortunately I wrecked the frame on my r32 and it's beyond repair.

Thats a good call on being LHD! I missed this part! Thank you.

I don't have much knowledge about s13/240 yet and I am in the research stage. I try to read everything I find on this forum about swaps but maybe I am looking at the wrong places, didn't find much info about rb20/r32 subs to 240 swap yet.

I think I need to review my original plans and maybe just swap the rear and leave 240 front sub in. The reason I thought to swap everything from R32 is because I wanted to keep VLSD and suspension seems to have a better configuration. I also after 5 bolt hub conversion and I thought that by swapping front and rear from r32 I will have that covered.

Front subframe/crossmember shouldn't affect LHD/RHD orientation. They are pretty much symmetrical side to side.

The upper collars that hold the rack down just get swapped from one side to the other in the event you are changing to/from RHD.

Also an RB20 is a drop-in install using factory motor mounts, when using an R32 front crossmember in an S13.
