Custom radiator - max cooling on s13? Show me what you got!

Hi, I have a 2j s13 and am looking for the maximum amount of cooling that i can reasonably attain. The goal is the utmost in reliability for lapping days.

Now I've been advised to go with a custom griffin radiator and mod the radiator support to massage it in there.

Anybody got an overkill radiator setup that's guaranteed to keep cool on the hottest of lapping days?

I just need to get an idea for the dimensions to order.

If it helps, this is for a pignose s13.

I know some of you track whores have got to have done this before.

Go with the Griffin, you won't be disappointed or let down. IIRC you can just order an "off-the-shelf" KA radiator and it will work just fine.

Also, make sure you get some adequate fans. I swear by the Dual 12" Flex-a-Lites, they are incredible.

Next, a proper mixture within the radiator can also make a difference in regards to cooling temperatures.

Lastly, be smart. Monitor water/oil temperatures. If the car starts to get warm, stop hot lapping <- that's how stuff breaks.

I run a summit SBC radiator and then welded different hose outlets on it.. $150 + a little work. I use a 15" black magic flex-a lite fan. IT MOVES AIR. better than all those maxima random junkyard fans.
