honestly because the barrel design of the rims all i had to do was put the tires on and air them up no cheetah or starting fluid........i did have to leave the tires out in the sun for a bit though to soften them up

AD08s 255s are in the $250 range. Most tires in that tier are in that price range. I'm not necessarily talking about grippy tires. I'm mostly talking about a nice quality tire. Not some shitty Nexens or Achilles like I've seen mounted on some sick as wheels, lol. $3k wheels, $300 tires. Something doesn't add up haha

im actually thinking about buying your 235/40 ad07s for my 17x10s.

wont be extreme stretch, but grip will be amazing

For sure. I have 265 AD08s on my 10.5s and man, they grip! Just remember AD08s run on the super thick and square side. They make Feddys look skinny, lol

i gotta ask, who's stretching these tires for u guys? i've asked just about every tire shop locally, as well as a couple of import tuning shops and they all puss out and go into some rant about "how it's unsafe, and the risks involved and that's why they won't do it" as if i'm not fully aware of the risks.

well considering i'm planning on putting these on a z31 with cut springs, a non working speedo, and a twitchy rear end at speed, i think im qualified to make that decision myself...im paying the f**kin $, shut your mouth, all i want is a 225/(55-40)/15 or 16 stretched on a 10" wide wheel...compared to the stuff i've seen so far what i want is quite mild, at least i think so... am i just gonna have to luck up and find a friend w/ a tire mounting machine?

or just find a mom and pop shop that doesnt really care, most bigger places wont do it. but even though my stretch isnt crazy i just do it myself at work. but i'd just make friends with someone who works at a dealer or at a tire shop.

ummm...why don't you just tell them it's going on a show car. and that at 45 psi, it'll hold air in freezing temperatures. and you have no problem signing a liability waiver cause the car is only for pictures.

enjoy getting your tires mounted. call and make sure they have a cheetah just in case their air compressor is wack.
