Few companies build RWD midsize coupes anymore and the safety requirements would mean Japanese Super GT or DTM styled cars. These are far more expensive then Cup Cars and part of the NASCAR appeal is it's accessibility to independent teams.

Watch out, Formula Drift is heading this way.

I'm with you on this one...just sucks they brought it in at the wrong time. Hell, they should have brought in the G8 before the GTO. I've always hated the GTO cuz it looked like a damn Grand Prix.

owned a foxbody mustang, thing was a POS but it was fast.. not very comfortable or economic.. don't think american cars at the time really considered building "drivers cars".. Got a 99 blazer that was givin to me, its a pos too..

They really did release that car at the absolute worst time possible. If that thing was released right now for the first time it would be doing far better.

I always thought the GTO looked like an updated 90's Monte Carlo.

Someone mentioned stock car racing. I agree! I also think they should bring back Big Rig Racing on the ovals!

My DREAM car, but I would settle for a "T"Type.

Challengers are my second fav car. There was one here in CO for sale for 2k, motor and all...to bad I had to pay my annuals for my license, insurance, and continuing education for massage therapy, or it would be in my garage right now..
