S13 KA tranny, s14 KA driveshaft. WTF dust cover?
Ok, simple question.
Converting my s14 auto to manual, I have an s13 tranny, and it has this style dust cover on the tranny Now, the driveshaft is out of a manual /abs s14 which is what I need, but the dust cover on the s13 tranny is contacting the driveshaft and causing it to bind and it's a very tight fit. Is there any way I can remove the dust cover? Or should I just leave it in and hope that shit doesnt explode?

Remove it. It's trash. The S13 one is a little more work but use a hammer to beat it out of round, then pry it out.
