s14 shifter help
so im having a problem with my shifter, i have a 96 240sx se... the shifter is about 3 inches to the right witch makes putting reverse really difficult. so i took off the shift boot.. ect... and seen this..(pic below).. any ideas on how the hell this happened or how to fix this.. maybe tranny mount is shot?... im knew to 240's and this is my first s14.. help would be appreciated
it drives good, it is my daily, also when putting into 5th gear, feels like im going to break my center counsel on how much force im using. |

if its a 5 speed swap then the mount is not right you might have an auto tranny mount
also if you have a custom test pipe it would shift the tranny over.... i had the issue with mine because the testpipe i made was not quite right. |

sorry forgot to mention it is a original 5 speed, and it make's sense about the testpipe, i have a no name i bought locally and it was a bitch to put on, i have it connected to a blitz nur spec cat back.. i will check that tomorrow.. thanks
