I left them because the LEDs wer looking to dot-ty.. the lens just smooth them out some ..

funny when people put really nice tail lights on a car that looks like shit or stock. There should be other mods to compliment the tails.

i contacted hid illuzion to see whta it cost to do a LED conversion...no crazy blinkers, or flashers, no random patterns....$700-900!!!! FUCK THAT!

that is just a standard LED conversion. They do look sweet as hell, but i can think of a LOT more things to do for $700

what do you expect, hours of custom hand labor and materials , just to be sold for the price of ebay altezzas?

Ive had people ask me to do their rx7 tail lights, and when id say $200 *i wouldnt profit much*, they say "oh thats too much Ill do it myself"

Add sound activated LED's with a tiny speaker in the tail light housing. You could get really crazy with that, sure to get you pulled over.

When you get sick of just simple blinking do this:

I can relate. Somebody on a local forum asked me to convert his front signals. Apparently the $50 i was asked was too much. Oh well, keeps us original.

That is basically a copy of the Clear Corners LED Kouki tail conversion. Its about the same pricing as well. I would go with Clear Corners because I know the quality of the work.

I am also suspect of any company that uses improper spelling of words in their names.LOL

It's too bad that whoever made those tails decided to use 5mm leds. Their narrow viewing angle makes them a prety poor choice for exterior lights. Gotta respect the work put into it though.

I need to see some nice type X lights, I dont think the hatch lights look very good in LEDs. At least not the ones in this thread. Seems cheap and cheesy on the hatch lights.

I just counted and there is something like 225 leds in the turnsignal area alone
and I guess atleast 350 - 400 for the brake light and 100-150 for the revers

775 led's for one tail light
