There is no specific number. Every coilover and spring will be a different scenario.
You can 'droop' springs as low as they go as long as they still prevent your coilovers from ramming metal into metal. Of course the more you droop them, chances are the sooner the shocks will blow, especially if you rally race on your daily commute, but who cares. |

I just wanted to hear others experiences, and 1.5in will put cars on their nuts so there's really no reason to go lower. Brent- drooping springs means when your car is jacked up and the coils are maxed out (specifically the rear) you run the spring down the threaded body of the coilover creating a gap between the top of the spring and the top hat.

well if thats the case Ive been doing this for a year on my tein hr coilovers, the locking rings are all busted and crap so the springs are at the bottom most position.. still have the helper ones in there that I need to pull out.

If your tires are 215-40 or smaller, you should be able to max them out and be ok. Make sure to bash the sharp edges inside your wheel *wells* flat or else they will chop up your rubber. But dude, you're on godspeeds... I'm pretty sure they don't really go that low anyway.

fixed, and you can go super low in front where the fender is at the top of the rim and still be able to turn but when turning the tires will rub if a bump is in the turn. But if going that low you might need to mod in inside wheel well so the top of the tire doesn't hit the metal right above it.

My advice would be to go with BC racing extreme low kit. The body is actually shorter allowing to go lower without unloading the spring. When i put mine on I went as low as i could go on them and when i dropped the jack i couldnt pull it out. I had to stack wood under the wheel and then drive back off of it. The problem then was that i was scraping rails and rubbing tire driving straight. They go LOW. The only problem im having now is getting the harnesses tucked far enough to go as low as i want. I will be switching from a 225/45 to a 225/35 to go lower without messing with the harnesses.
