Its stated both seats are the type-r style but the seats appear to be very different in the bottom cushion portion. Which is provided ? The black seat appears to have much more leg support. Maybe its just the way the picture is

I see what you mean, good question.
it's just the angle and color difference playing tricks on our eyes with the Red seats.
They are both the same exact seat, only difference would be the color of fabric.
The pictured Black seats show the shape and angles much better here.
