The question is simple:
Can we fit the new sentra 180hp motor in a 240?? cause if we can its smog legal in Ca and its a sexy beast asking to get force inducted by my big fat turbo... sorry carried away there anyways you get the question. |

And you'll need even more $$$ on top of that, keep in mid that the Sentra is FWD and our cars are RWD... If you want an original swap, I'd say go with a RB20DET or RB25DET (Skyline if you didn't know).

That would be a pretty penny...the motor mounts would be totally different, you'd have to come up with a way to mate some kind of RWD transmission up to it, custom header, etc....all for 20 hp...not worth it IMHO.

what's worth it would be putting the AWD sr20 from the Sunny GTiR into either the SE-R or the 240... 300hp and AWD would be sweet.
and then you have to worry about the drivetrain and all that... but 'course, that's if you have the $$$$$$ <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> |

If you want an engine swap, why the se-r engine???
Get yourself an SR, it fits, it's fast, and way easier and cheaper to install then your se-r. That our just turbo your KA, and have a torquey monster. |

I was actually thinking of an 1st gen Q45 V8. There pretty cheap from a junk yard these days and it would keep it an all nissan deal. Of course I could "settle" for a 600 HP LS-1
