I was wondering how much space you have on the inside of the wheel well, as far as clearance from the chassis and any problems when at full lock. Also does anyone have this setup with springs/struts? I am running Sheepdog springs, and know that coilovers pose a problem when mounting wide tires. Is this problem apparent with struts also? I am assuming if it is, it is to a lesser degree.

You should have plenty of space in the inside. I would be more worried for the outside. Mine is 17x9.5 +33 and it has several mm's between the inside of the tire and shock, but the outside is flush with the fender.

Im not worried about the outside is the thing. I am ready to do body modifications....just want to see what the max I can fit inside of the fender.

Well it depends. How much are you going to modify the outside? You can run 17x12 -10 if you are not worried about the outside. If you are wondering how close your tire can be to the shock with a 10" rim, then the offset will be around 25-30. and it will close to flush with maybe just a tad of fender rolling.

I fit an 8.5 with a -27 offset with the JDM rice style flares, message old_s13 he is selling some of the exact same flares
