S14 sr20det high rpm breaking up andvtec
So I know the vtec in the title will catch some eyes but that's exactly what it feels like. At 4k rpm my boost goes from 4psi to 7 idk why my boost is constricted until exactly 4k then itfee ls like a vtec pop. I know I have a leaking bov that needs replacing it causes a rough idle I'm assuming from lost metered air. 135 psi compression across the boar. Recently in the high rpms my car will break up all plugs areclean and good. Cleaned iacv, mafs, and Tps withprop er cleaning agent. Any ideas? Ty

Mafs ground good idle is shit still breaks up almost sounds like Rev limiter around 5700 rpm.... All plugs Gapped to 28 Denson v-power iridium plugs. Coil packs failing? Bov wouldn't cause rpm break up like that I wouldn't think.

Reading your symptoms you have a boost leak. if the bov is leaking fix it. you cant hope to diagnose other problems when the known issues go unresolved. most of the time its better to post when you have exhausted yourself and need another brain to help.
