Intermittent Wiper Option

I am trying to find out why my intermittent wiper option isn't working in my S13.

I have a known to be good green box (amp) and switch.

I also looked at all my fuses and none of them are blown.

Are there anything else I should be looking at?

Please Help!

the wiper switch is probably fried. when you pull back on the wiper switch for the window washer to come on do the wipers make a pass?

Ok, so I tried the tapping thing and cleaned the connections.

When I pull back, the wipers do not make a pass, but also the previous owner did some funky wiring with my car. I'm guessing that can also be related.

@clan, what is the TCU?

I'd check the wiper switch out. Sounds like the culprit.

The TCU is the timing control unit, its a white box behind the driver side kick panel.
