Sourced and installed the HiCas eliminator bar. Last, the rear muffler hanger is not located the same. I cut the one off the S13 subframe, and will have an exhaust shop weld it on for me. It mounted and looks like it belongs there. |

So I decided to pull the pan off, and hammer out the skidplate.
My 18v 1/2 impact is the shit, I hardly ever use the air comp any more. Whats cranked on the XM Always use the proper sealant |

It's always good to see people do things right. That diamond gray is perfect!
I love seeing people breath life into cars by restoring and rebuilding them. Keep up the good work! |

Thanks for the comments guys.
I just got back from the local Nissan dealer where I ordered new brake and clutch line clips for the firewall. After paying for them in advance, and having them tell me they will be in for pickup in about a week. Today they tell me that they're not available. Fucking fantastic. Now I have to start calling dealerships hoping someone has 'em in stock. |

What kind of intercooler is that?
It looks like Greddy R-SPL.....same as the one I've got it. If so, that intercooler is pure bad ass. I have a PowerFC and GT2871R, and at 18 psi, the intake air temperature (even at full boost) is not higher than the air temperature under no load. Either the turbo puts out unheated air (doubtful), or that intercooler is just sick at cooling the charge air.

You got dibs if you want it. Ill send you pics of the parts. So tonight I was bored, and not having the brake line clips to finish the install of the brake and clutch lines. I ended up doing some other random stuff. Tonight the stout of choice was Guinness! Powdercoating anyone??? Cookies are done!! My buddy the alignment guy (Lance) put my steering back together for me tonight. Not that I couldnt do it, but he came over and wanted to help, so I put him to work! +1 on the powdercoating gun. Just got one myself. Tomorrow i'm goin to the hardware/home appliance store to pick myself up an old oven for free. I'm gonna powdercoat everything possible!!! I love the quickness of the updates. Keep it up!

Thanks, I'm working on it as much as I can each night. Not real crazy about dropping the engine in till my lines are routed. The powder coat gun is awsome for $40 bucks. I just went to Goodwill and picked up a $10 toaster oven. I want to do my calipers, but I'll have to tear them down to do it. Heres a pic of me test fitting the one 18 I have.. |

mmmmm....tasty wheels. My gun was about $60 i believe. I like the compact size of your oven, but it does limit the size of parts you can do. I'm hoping to do all my suspension arms etc. I'm kinda pissed now cuz i spent countless hours rebuilding, cleaning, and PAINTING my new Q45 brakes a couple months before i got the PC gun. D'oh!!

I like...if you were going to go under the pipe, then it would be an issue, but this setup works very well. Keep up the great work. Carlos Last edited by Slidin240Wayz; 03-19-2008 at 08:27 AM.. |
