some people told me to preload my spring 1/2" and to take it off the car completely? cant i just do it while its on the car, it would be easier to do it becuase the tower would hold it into place. my question is why should i take it off the car completely?

u dont have to take it off. just tighten the collars up and it should be fine

i put it up 1/2". how much did u guys do? im in ga and every1 makes it out to be like cali knows all and ur so serious about imports so how much do u cali people do?

We just said snug.... You can do what you want, but more preload increases compression but raises spring rate... Most people like I said snug against the spring and measure the compression.
