Need some help here been looking all over google and the forums for the past 10 days.

So my issue is my rb25det swapped into my s13 and it refuses to idle.

I have fuel pressure. Power to injectors and coilpacks etc.
If i unplug the maf it idles smoothly. Sounds a bit high but i have no way
of telling the rpms.

I tired having the maf connected and cranked while spraying starter fluid
into the intake and it jumped up i rpms and back fired.

I think its just putting itself in limp mode when the mafs unplugged so would that show that the maf is good or bad?!

Sounds like the maf is bad I went through similar issues with my swap

Thats what ive been thinking. Guess ima gonna order one.
$150 later ill repost. Unless theres more input.

Though it idled really rough today. Which shows it stayed up after a minute.

do u have a stock fuel pump?

Did you try to pressurize the system first? Build a boosteak tester before buying a new maf. It won't idle if it had a bad vac leak somewhwre

Have a wallboro 255. Havent pressurized the system. Nor do i have a boost leak tester.
Idk how id build one. Wouldnt smoke machine be similar if not do the same job?

That would have to be one huge vacuum leak
